movie posters are the official sponsor of the college dorm room. animal house and dazed and confused were ever present in the syracuse dorms. movie posters are extremely conceptually thought out. the studios wouldn't spend half the movie budget on marketing and ask someone to slap a photo and a name on paper. these images are what immediately attracts the audience. you have less than a second to grab the driver on the road going 70mph.
